How To Stop YouTube Videos From Playing Automatically

This article will teach you how you can stop YouTube videos from starting automatically. This thing happens when we open a YouTube video in a new tab to play it later in the near future but it starts buffering and playing automatically. Quit annoying when you are already listening to a song and a new song starts playing in the background.

Well here is a solution for Firefox and Chrome users. There is an add-on and an extension available which can stop this automated start. For Mozilla Firefox the add-on name is YouTube AutoPlay Stopper. Add-on installs without any problem and after its installation you can open as much YouTube tabs as possible without worrying about their auto buffering and playing.

Same in the case with Chrome. Chrome users can use the extension YouTube Autoplay disabled (better search on Chrome Web Store if link doesn’t work). This extension smoothly handles autoplaying of YouTube videos. Once installed feel free to open YouTube videos in the new tab. They won’t start without your permission.

This default playing of videos automatically is good but it is sometimes annoying and very harmful for Internet users with limited downloading or small bandwidth. I hope these two techniques will be enough for YouTubers get rid of this feature.

Quickly Switch Between Facebook Accounts In Google Chrome

Before this I’ve written a similar article “Quickly Switch Between Multiple Google Accounts In Google Chrome“. Managing more than one Facebook account with a single Google Chrome profile can be challenging. However using some smart extensions work load can be put on automation.

Same as we did in the aforementioned post we will be installing an extension and then writing email address and password for an account an then giving any custom name to it. So we can quickly switch between the Facebook accounts just by clicking the extension and then choosing the desired account.

Go to Chrome web store, search for “FB Quick Login”, install the extension and quickly switch between multiple Facebook profiles.

This article will teach you how you can download your and your friend’s whole Facebook photo albums with ease. You can either download one or multiple photo albums.

Few days back I was reading somewhere on the web, “I like those days when photos were taken to keep memories, not to publish on Facebook”, no doubt this is true to some extent. Facebook albums help us remind our golden days. Many times I had visited my old Facebook wall photos to remind me of my college days. Facebook photo albums are our memories. Why shouldn’t we download them to our hard drives so we can enjoy them even when we don’t have an internet access.

SpeedBitVideoDownloader is a very popular software which comes with Download Accelerator Plus. Lots of people use it download videos from sites like YouTube, Facebook, Daily Motion etc.

Another option is SaveVid.com. I’ve already written about this web app. This is extremely useful as you don’t need to download and install any software on your PC. No matter which operating system you have you can use this web app to get the job done. Videos can be downloaded in 3gp, flv and mpeg formats.

FacebookVideoDown is another web app that can be used to download video to your computer. All you need to is paste the URL of the video and it will start downloading that Facebook video.

The last option is related with Firefox. We are going to use a Firefox add-on named “Download Flash and Video“. With the help of this add-on we can download Facebook flash video.

I hoped you will find these tools helpful. Only two of them requires downloading and installation while rest of the three are online. Enjoy!
