Communicating secretly is an exciting expect of networking. However for this you may need to encrypt messages and do many stuff. However there also exist a way through which you can communicate without giving any hint to others. This way is hiding of information inside an image and transferring it via network, which is in most cases The Internet.

This kind of camouflaged transferring of text is clever and undetectable approach. It’s also safe because information is encrypted before hiding inside an image, so even if you get caught your words can’t be read by others.
There are many software available for this kind of mechanism. I’m going to mention two of them; ImageHide and Cipher Image. Both are Windows desktop apps can be used for the same cause.
Cipher Image can save many encrypted images with hidden text into a single file. Cipher Image has a support for 21 image formats and more. It uses 128-bit encryption. Key can be auto-generated or manually entered.
ImageHide can save image file in PNG and BMP format. It uses RC_4 encryption plus SHA hashing and hashed password. Image file size doesn’t increase and you know how to much more data you can enter in it safely.
I hope these two free tools are enough to achieve the task. There some online tools too if you want platform independence.
